Drive sales of open access publishing solutions to research institutions, universities, societies, and funders in India. Manage strategic accounts, develop new business, grow article processing charge revenue, and sell memberships, platforms, gateways, and prepaid packages. Build relationships with academic decision-makers, coordinate post-sale support, report on sales progress, attend conferences, and travel extensively across the territory.

Leads centralized editorial services operations, managing coordinator teams, workflow, service levels, quality, KPIs, SLAs, backlogs, capacity, and customer outcomes. The role drives corrective action and continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile, and Kanban practices; coaches teams; manages performance and change; maintains controls and documentation; and provides data-driven reporting, risk escalation, and recommendations to the Editorial Services Director.

Leads the strategic direction, operational performance, service delivery, and continuous improvement of the Editorial Services function. Oversees capacity, quality, risks, governance, stakeholder engagement, change management, and business benefits. Coaches Editorial Services Managers, drives Lean Six Sigma and Agile process improvements, manages complex projects, and ensures services meet business and editor needs across a global organization.
