Lead the people and talent function for a rapidly scaling AI access organization in India. The role requires deep knowledge of Indian smallholder agriculture, hands-on program execution, team building, fundraising and external representation, and the ability to scale weather forecasting and advisory services for farmers. The director will establish a new program, manage ambiguity, and translate evidence into practical delivery plans.

Owns operational execution and scale-up of an AI agriculture program in India. Responsibilities include building work plans, coordinating multi-state delivery, managing government relationships, establishing state operations, solving logistical challenges, developing scalable systems, hiring and onboarding field staff, and supporting strategic pivots. The role serves as a founding team member and requires strong project management, adaptability, communication, relationship-building, and delivery skills in a fast-growing environment.

Lead international expansion of AI-enabled agricultural weather forecasting programs. Responsibilities include selecting new markets, establishing offices and teams, developing government and telco partnerships, overseeing forecast deployment, managing staff and consultants, and building replicable best practices. The role reports to the VP of Agriculture, manages senior personnel, and requires extensive collaboration with governments, researchers, delivery partners, and private-sector organizations across low- and middle-income countries.

Lead a portfolio of early-stage global health interventions through Evidence Action's Accelerator: assess evidence and cost-effectiveness, design and run lean field learning, build stakeholder alignment, draft investment cases, collaborate across teams, and mentor analysts to advance or stop candidate programs.
