Windows Administrator
Purpose
Be the primary owner of Windows endpoints and M365 – effectively running the Windows platform as a solo admin for Delta Star.
What the role does
- Manages Windows endpoint configuration, patching, and compliance through Intune/Endpoint Manager.
- Administers M365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive), applying security baselines and governance.
- Implements and monitors endpoint security controls (Defender, BitLocker, conditional access, device compliance policies).
- Handles complex escalations from the service desk, freeing senior US infrastructure resources to focus on modernization and projects.
- Acts as secondary admin for core identity and Azure resources when the Systems Admin is unavailable, providing backup coverage.
- Participates in an on-call rotation for critical endpoint/M365 incidents.
Skills & experience
- ~5+ years running Windows + M365 in an environment of similar or larger size than Delta Star (ideally larger).
- Deep hands-on experience with Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), and M365 administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoints, identity, and collaboration services.
Stabilize / Standardize / Supercharge
