Innovation and execution of our Care Management (CM) products are vital to our success in driving the future revenue growth of Optum Whole Health Solution's Commercial book of business. This role will be responsible for management of a portfolio of CM products. As VP CM, you will lead the definition, execution and transformation of a portfolio of CM products, creating the foundation for valuable and scalable consumer experiences and customer solutions. This role is accountable for defining the product strategy and vision as well as translating to design and execution. This individual will oversee the evolution of the products, leading a cross-functional team responsible for translating abstract concepts and real-world healthcare problems into simple yet innovative solutions that support members in living healthier lives. - Establish a compelling vision & strategy for a CM portfolio of products
- Lead efforts to secure alignment across key stakeholders to the vision and strategy, serving as a change agent who can rally others with a solution-oriented and fact-based approach
- Translate strategy into execution across the matrix team of stakeholders including Enterprise Clinical Services, Technology, Finance, Account Management and UHC
- Leads capital requirement assessment considering short-term product needs and long-term roadmap; accountability for product performance as indicated in capital plan
- Establish P&L, pricing models and financial management mechanisms
- End to end accountability for product management from vision to execution against objectives, comprehending the entirety of the products, anticipating consequences of potential decisions and taking calculated risks (oversee end to end product lifecycle)
- Represent the portfolio externally to customers, demonstrating collaboration and strategic influence
- Define and take responsibility for the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) across the portfolio; use analytics and customer feedback to continually improve customer experience, portfolio value and evolution of the strategy
- Develop talent and grow a high-performing team responsible for the achievement of KPIs that drive business outcomes, clinical quality and member satisfaction
- Takes accountability for decisions, actions and results of the team, leading the team through uncertainty with clear communication and strategic decision making

Required Qualifications:
- 9+ years in product development, management and strategy roles
- 9+ years of healthcare experience
- Proven leadership and management experience

- Proven exceptional communication and executive influence skills
- Demonstrated history of successful execution in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively
