Design and produce wireframes, prototypes, mockups, icons and graphic assets for a BI portal and dashboards. Collaborate with developers, assist usability testing and user research, document design system and templates, perform UI QA, and support other design tasks as requested.

For an international institution, we are urgently looking for a full remote UX designer – User Experience (BI). As UX designer – User Experience (BI) in the Business Intelligence unit, you are responsible for the visual design and development of the next generation of the Business Intelligence portal (inSight). S/he will report to the Business Intelligence frontend specialist.
Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. Candidates need to be able to work 5-6 hours in the European time zone.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups for business intelligence applications;
- Create graphic resources and icons for the BI portal, dashboards, and reports;
- Collaborate with other team members in the development tasks;
- Assist in usability testing and other user experience research methods to gather user needs or feedback;
- Assist in the development and documentation of design system and base templates;
- Perform quality assurance of user interface implementation;
- Other design tasks, as requested by the unit manager or section chief;
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or Graphic design, or equivalent professional experience.
- +5 years of related experience designing wireframes and high-fidelity comprehensive mockups for data-driven websites and/or data visualization applications;
- +5 years of related experience using tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, or Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.);
- +3 years of experience using data visualization tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc;
- +3 years of experience applying human-centered design research methodologies;
- +3 years web design experience in a large corporate or non-profit setting;
- Experience in the design and UX implications of different data visualizations, including best practices for reports, dashboards, and charts;
- Experience in advanced data visualization development using D3 is a plus;
- Experience SharePoint design is a plus;
- Deep understanding and practical hands-on applying usability, user experience, and user-centered design concepts;
- Experience using Git versioning system;
- Experience in Scrum/Agile environments (Jira, Azure DevOps);
- Fluent in English;
