What You'll Do • Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, reliability, and data accuracy across ETL and data warehousing pipelines.• Work closely with Test Consultants and Associate Consultants to contribute to the design and implementation of automation frameworks, including ETL and data validation frameworks.• Perform end-to-end ETL Testing, ensuring correctness of data extraction, transformation logic, loading processes, and reconciliation.• Validate data flows, perform source-to-target mapping verification, and ensure data integrity across databases, APIs, and reporting layers.• Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks by integrating new test cases (including SQL-based validation scripts) and improving script efficiency.• Execute test cases, maintain automation scripts, report defects, and perform root-cause analysis for both application-level and data-level issues.• Work on functional testing, regression testing, and system testing to ensure all features behave as expected across UI, API, and backend systems.• Collaborate with QA, development, data engineering, and product teams to understand testing requirements and create reusable automation test suites.• Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts, ETL jobs, and data issues, ensuring smooth execution of automated and data validation test cases.• Ensure test scripts align with business requirements and maintain comprehensive functional, data, and automation coverage.• Document and report test results, defects, data discrepancies, and issues-providing clear SQL queries and repro steps where required.• Work with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, as well as ETL tools and SQL scripting frameworks.• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automation and data validation test suites.• Ensure regression testing covers both UI/API functionality and data/ETL processes.• Follow industry best practices and maintain compliance with testing standards.• Should be well-versed with GenAI concepts and incorporate GenAI-based accelerators into functional, automation, and data testing processes.• Develop automation scripts using Python (preferred) or Java.• Work closely with data engineers to validate data models, transformations, and performance of large-volume data loads.
What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's/ master's degree in Computer Science , Electrical Engineering or other computer-related disciplines with minimum 60% marks throughout the education;
• 3.5-6 years of software testing experience in business intelligence domain
• Experience with end-to-end testing of the ETL process of a data warehouse system;
• Experience in one or more Big data technologies:

• Spark
• Databricks
• Redshift
• Azure
• Informatica cloud
• GCP
• Athena etc ;

• Experience with DevOps/CICD/Jenkins will be an added advantage;
• Hands on experience with reporting and web based application testing will be an added advantage;
• Hands on experience in one or more automation technologies:

• Selenium+Java /Py t hon
• Selenium IDE
• testproject.IO
• Python
• shell scripting
• VBA will be an added advantage;

• Experience in developing test plans, as well as translating them into test cases and executing them;
• In-depth understanding of defect management processes;
• SQL skills for development of expected results and troubleshooting problems found during testing;
• Identify test data requirements and generate required data to support testing;
• Evaluate and analyze application behavior and data for potential software issues;
• Experience with validated systems will be good to have.

Additional Skills:

• Must be technical, creative, detail-oriented and a strong team player.
• ZS is a global consulting firm; English fluency is required , additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is highly desired .
