AUTOMATION TEST ASSOCIATE
The QA & Test team plays a crucial role in ensuring software quality by automating test processes and improving efficiency. Automation Test Engineers design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks, create and execute automated test scripts, and verify system functionality. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, integrate test automation into the development pipeline, and support the seamless deployment of business solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
What you'll do:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Work closely with Test Consultants and Associate Consultants to contribute to the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks by integrating new test cases and improving script efficiency.
• Work on test execution, script maintenance, and defect reporting using automation tools.
• Collaborate with the QA and development teams to understand testing requirements and create reusable automation test cases.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts and test failures, ensuring smooth execution of automated test cases.
• Ensure test scripts align with business requirements and maintain comprehensive test coverage.
• Document and report test results, defects, and issues, providing clear steps for reproduction.
• Work with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, and other test automation frameworks.
• Support continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines by integrating automated test suites.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new features or fixes do not impact existing functionalities.
• Follow industry best practices and maintain compliance with testing standards.
• Should be well-versed with GenAI concepts and bring in thought leadership to integrate GenAI into automation processes.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python (preferred) or Java to develop and maintain automation scripts.

What you'll bring :

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1.5-3.5 years of hands-on experience in test automation, including automation framework development and maintenance.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python (preferred) or Java for scripting and automation development.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience working with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation tests with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including Unit, Integration, System, Regression, and Performance testing.
• Exposure to cloud-based test environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Should be well-versed with GenAI concepts and bring in thought leadership to integrate GenAI into automation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of risk-based testing strategies and ability to assess automation feasibility within Agile or SDLC environments.
• Understanding of best practices in test documentation and defect management processes.
• Good to have: Strong SQL skills for data validation, test case development, and troubleshooting issues.

Additional Skills:

• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Good Verbal and non-verbal communication skills
