As a Territory Manager for IN - NOVATEUR ELECTRICAL & DIGITAL SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED (NEDS), you will play a crucial role in our L7 - IN - LEGRAND - Trade Sales department. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and develop our sales territory, focusing on building strong relationships with channel partners and retailers. You will be a key driver of our sales strategy, working closely with the team to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the assigned sales territory, ensuring optimal coverage and penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and retailers, fostering collaboration and trust.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and tactics.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Provide regular feedback and insights to the sales team, contributing to the overall sales strategy.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining high ethical standards.
- Stay updated with industry knowledge and competitor activities, sharing insights with the team.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events and conferences.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of sales strategies and techniques, particularly in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a results-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is essential.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
- Graduation or equivalent qualification is the minimum educational requirement.
