You will work with closely with commercially focused Sales Managers, Distribution Partners and other relevant peer groups within the designated territory. Educational activities such as trainings, webinars and speeches will be a vital element of your tool-set. You will also participate in customer facing activities, such as demos, conferences and trade shows, to provide technical perspective and expertise.

Location: - Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore India

SPHERE of RESPONSIBILIY:

The position is the first of a team to be built over time. Core focus will be on India plus occasional engagement wherever needed in Asia Pacific.

 PRODUCTS:

Optical Gas Imaging products for oil & gas and utilities.

Science cameras for research and development Automation cameras for conditional monitoring, process control and over temperature alerts.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Owning the sales and technical pre-sales process during the full pre-sales-cycle, starting from prospecting, demand generation, technical qualification to technical proposal. Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the company products, function, features and benefits. Understanding technical needs and requirements of focus customer groups and focus applications, translating the same into technical solution proposals. Support new product introductions to ensure quick break-through success in the market. Support the development of new strategic business opportunities and expansion of existing business opportunities, based on close collaboration with commercial sales managers, business development and marketing. Actively contribute to seminars, conferences, tradeshows and other customer facing activities. Technical education of sales, partners and end customers. Monitor competition landscape and create value proposition comparisons, highlighting unique selling propositions. Guide the preparation of technical proposals and specifications. Act as the primary contact for sales and business development activities for technical expertise requirements. Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have passion for high-tech equipment and industrial applications. Highest success will be reached with strong intrinsic curiosity and a talent to convey complex solution messages in a an easy to understand fashion. Graduate Engineers with a strong commercial acumen or business administration graduates with technical experience do equally qualify for the role. The position might also address former service or support technicians who want to make next steps towards stronger business involvement. Past-experience in markets with explainable industrial goods is considered a requirement. Applicant preferably should be based in, Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore India. Cultural adaptivity across Asia Pacific and past experience in an international environment are a must. We are looking for a winning personality, highly resistant to stress and with outstanding ability to balance different interest across functional groups. Strong executive presence, outstanding communication skills, leadership talent and superior presentation skills are required to succeed in this role. A customer focused and growth mindset, able to work self-driven in a team environment, highly flexible and embracing change in a dynamic environment, will be flourishing in this role. Willingness and ability to travel +50% of time.
