Responsibilities:
Oversee maintenance and repair operations for residential properties
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
Manage a team of maintenance staff and contractors
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Conduct regular property inspections and assess the condition of buildings and systems
Create and manage budgets for maintenance and improvement projects
Coordinate with property managers and residents to address technical issues
Evaluate and implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services
Respond to emergency situations and coordinate necessary repairs
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and expenses
Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in property maintenance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
5-7 years of experience in property maintenance or facilities management
Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Proficiency in using property management software and MS Office suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed
