About the Role
As a Team Lead for User Experience, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping intuitive, impactful digital experiences for our customers. This role blends strategic design leadership with hands-on mentorship, ensuring our UX team delivers solutions that delight users and drive business success.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Team Development
- Set the Vision: Define team goals, prioritize projects, and ensure alignment with product and business objectives.
- Grow Talent: Recruit, mentor, and inspire UX designers, fostering a culture of creativity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Problem-Solve: Navigate complex design challenges and resolve conflicts with empathy and clarity.
Design Strategy & Execution
- Champion the User: Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to launch.
- Lead by Example: Shape UX strategy, guide design decisions, and ensure solutions meet usability and accessibility standards.
- Drive Process Excellence: Oversee research, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing to inform design improvements.
- Maintain Quality: Establish and evolve design systems and guidelines for consistency across products.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences.
- Influence & Present: Communicate design rationale effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage Expectations: Align on scope, timelines, and deliverables while building trust with partners.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in UX design and leadership roles.
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in design thinking, user research, and usability testing.
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, prototyping platforms, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of modern UI principles, design systems, and emerging technologies.

- Advanced degree in Design, HCI, or Computer Science.
- Experience with AI-assisted design, data visualization, and journey mapping.
- Track record of driving innovation in UX/UI and digital product design.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
• 1+ years of team lead experience (Managing a team)
• Preferred: previous experience with Agile based project execution
