About the Role
As a Tax Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and compliance of our global tax obligations. This includes a strong focus on ASC 740, SEC reporting, and international income tax filings. You will participate in implementation of strategic global tax planning initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in our Boston office, requiring on-site presence three days per week. Specifically, your focus will be to:
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and assist in the preparation and review of the company's quarterly and annual ASC 740 provision calculations using Onesource, Tax Provision
- Support the preparation of tax-related disclosures for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K)
- Perform detailed reconciliations of tax accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ASC 740 and SEC reporting requirements
- Work with FP&A on improving the accuracy and usability of PBT forecasting by legal entity
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of tax-related journal entries
- Perform cash tax reconciliations, including analysis of payments, refunds, and estimated tax payments
- Maintain and enhance documentation related to tax provision processes and controls
- Assist with the review of international income tax returns and filings prepared by outside tax advisors. Support analysis of GAAP to statutory differences and return to provision adjustments, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's global tax position, considering both domestic and international operations
- Assist with the feasibility and implementation of other tax obligations stemming from BEPS requirements, including but not limited to, CbCR, Pillar 2 implementation and transfer pricing documentation

The skills and qualities you'll bring include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's in Taxation or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, preferably in a publicly traded company.
- Strong understanding of ASC 740, SEC reporting requirements, and international tax principles
- Advanced proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision software
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing international income tax returns
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
- Experience with tax controllership duties
- Experience with Sales tax process a plus
