Position description - Ribbon Communications is looking for a talented Consultant-Optical Engineer. Experts should promote DWDM and Software solution and develop business in Optical DomainResponsibilities :
- Candidate will be responsible for Business Development for Optical Networking. You will lead technical customer engagements and internal architectural discussions and requirements.
- Play a key role in producing Solution documents, RFP /RFI responses, designs/documentation.
- You’ll assist in the preparation of Bill of Quantity, RFx’s responses. Understand and identify new product features requirement for Product line Managers/Architects.
- Customer product and technology presentations and workshops.
- Communicate Product life Cycle management and Product Roadmaps to customers.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to other Sales Engineers
Required Skills
- Technical expertise in fiber optic transmission systems (WDM/OTN/IP /PTN), and network management
- Knowledge on RFP’s Technical response
- Ability to use planning tool efficiently. Prior knowledge of Planning tool is must
- Build Trusted customer relationship
- Time management and multitasking
- Team player
