Key Role and Responsibilities -
- Project Delivery: Manage the day-to-day execution of SAP MM/PP projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and scope.
- Functional Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of SAP MM/PP components (e.g., MRP, BOMs, Inventory Management) to meet business requirements.
- Technical Translation: Collaborate with business process owners to translate operational needs into technical specifications for the development team. Migration Support: Act as a key resource in data mapping, system testing, and cutover activities during ERP migration projects.
- Integration Coordination: Partner with technical teams to ensure seamless data flow between SAP and peripheral manufacturing systems (e.g., PLM, Shop Floor systems).
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead functional unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet quality standards. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive functional documentation, training materials, and project status reports for management.
- Issue Resolution: Act as the first line of support for functional roadblocks during project execution, escalating complex architectural issues to the Technical Product Manager. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Extensive professional IT experience, with a focus on SAP ERP implementations. Desired Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on SAP MM/PP Experience: Proficient in configuration, functional design, and day-to-day maintenance of SAP MM/PP modules.
- Project Lifecycle Experience: Participation in at least three full-cycle SAP ERP implementations (from requirements gathering to go-live).
- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of "Plan-to-Produce" (P2P) and "Source-to-Pay" (S2P) business processes.
- Integration Literacy: Working knowledge of how MM/PP modules integrate with FICO, SD, or Project Systems (PS).
- Core Competencies -Technical Communication: Ability to communicate technical constraints to non-technical business stakeholders clearly.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and complex system landscapes.
- Project Execution: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet strict project deadlines. Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying potential risks or roadblocks in the project schedule and proposing mitigation strategies.
