Position Summary...Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

What you'll do...

About Team: 

ur team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few. 

What you'll do:

The Principal Technical Program Manager has day-to-day responsibility for managing complex programs from inception to completion. You will coordinate and lead the activities of multiple globally located cross-functional teams to complete programs in support of Walmart business strategy and objectives.

  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Scrum/Agile practice and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.

  • Aligns teams to common business/end-customer/release goals, works cross-functionally to achieve them and ensures accountability to deliver them.

  • Resolves issues and makes recommendations for improvements to existing processes.

  • Interacts with key Business Stakeholders, Engineering/Product Leaders, and Executive sponsors.

  • Builds roadmaps and leads the development of complex programs.

  • Ensures ongoing communication of progress against program objectives.

  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions.

  • Develops Agile/Scrum best practice to enhance the collaboration among scrum teams in the organization

What you'll bring:

  • An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS/PhD in any stream – Computer Science preferred.

  • 15+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry.

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in internet-related program and/or technical program management in a software applications environment

  • Experience building processes, program management, and release schedules.

  • Strong project management & cross – group collaboration skills.

  • Prior experience with agile methodologies

  • Prior experience in Ad Tech industry would be desired
