Our Organization:
The Global Stores and Supply Chain Solution Delivery organization is responsible for delivering technology solutions to drive growth, enable efficiency, and improve customer experience at the front-line in our stores and managing various supply chain related solutions within TJX IT.

The Data & Analytics function thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and working diligently to address their needs, which support TJX growth and operational stability. On this tightly knit and fast-paced solution delivery team, you will be constantly challenged to stretch and think creatively.
As we expand our capabilities, we are growing our presence in India to include a new focus on Data Analytics. Associates in India will work closely with global teams to mature and scale our services.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a Staff Scrum Master who demonstrates initiative and flexibility (tempered by pragmatism, patience, and attention to detail) and who is an adept user of Agile Lifecycle Management tools, particularly JIRA and Confluence.
Supports impediment removals and fosters an environment that builds and supports a high performing team. Monitors team progress and communicate team progress to stakeholders. Partners with the Product Owner and Product Manager to ensure the product backlog is continuously refined and work is prioritized and scheduled. The right candidate will be able to hold the team accountable to its vision and values and can communicate at all levels of the organization (including senior management) on issues of strategy, risk, process, and ongoing operations.
As a Staff Scrum Master, your core responsibilities will include assisting the team to clear obstacles, establishing an environment where the team can be effective, addressing any team dynamics as well as supporting the team to control outside interruptions and distractions. You will work closely with the Product Manager and scrum team in planning and coordinating the deployment into production for large epics/initiatives that span multiple product and shared services teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master/Project Manager/Program Manager with dedicated agile teams using scrum/SAFe
- Proven success working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
- Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and mentor skills
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver solutions
- Self-motivated and flexible individual who adapts quickly and can work well in a team
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to improve efficiency of scrum teams and the enterprise
- Management of dependencies internal and external to scrum team
- Communication skills to raise risks and blockers when necessary to RTE and appropriate team members/leadership
- Experience working closely with Product Owner to understand and align on backlog priorities
- Communicative and social -- excellent interpersonal and group facilitation skills including the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and personality types
- Assertive - must be able to ensure agile and scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, and not afraid to be a voice of reason and authority
- Tools experience in JIRA, Confluence, Mural & ServiceNow
- Coaching and mentoring experience
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe SM preferred
- Hands-on experience participating in and leading Scrum/SAFe events, such as Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and Program Increment (PI) Planning
- Working knowledge of Data Analytics
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Thinking outside of the box is a big plus
