Team Lead Responsibilities- Provide ongoing feedback to employees outside of the formal performance review process.
- Recognize and escalate performance issues to the manager.
- Assign/monitor daily assignments. Provide input to the manager on employees' performance - Work with the manager to determine merit increases.
- Collaborate with employees to determine cadence of 1:1s (must occur at minimum once a month)
- Actively participate in the Performance Review Discussion
- Guide employees, as needed, on the creation of Performance Goals
- Collaborate with the manager to determine interviewers - Participate in the intake meeting.
- Participate in the interview process *Recommended: If you have never interviewed a candidate, consider doing a panel interview with the manager
- Collaborate with the manager on hiring decisions.
- Analyzing system requirements and prioritizing tasks
- Solid understanding of Microsoft .NET, C#, MVC
- Fundamental knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g., AngularJS)
- Knowledge of common communication protocols (such as HTTP, REST, Web Services)
- Developing technical specifications and architecture
- Full-stack web development, including front-end, business logic, and data access layers.
- Responsible for the full development life cycle from planning through successful release and support
- Design and develop API integration with various products of Syntrio.
- Participate in decision-making concerning software architecture and design.
- Conduct technical analyses, documentation of technical and non-technical details of Web API integration with third-party vendors when required.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Mentor and assist in the training and onboarding of other team members.
- Maintain high standards, attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
- Participating in daily scrums, ceremonies with other team members to discuss project status and identify any issues that may affect progress.
- Communicating with stakeholders to gather requirements for new projects or products.
- Collaborating with other team members to design, develop, test, release, and support new products or services through the entire SDLC.
- Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience with .NET Core (C#), Entity Framework and MSSQL.
- 4+ years of experience in object-oriented programming, n-tier architecture, and design patterns.
- 2+ years of experience with Angular/React, HTML5/CSS3/JS, jQuery and writing reusable libraries.
- 2+ years of experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket
- Attention to security coding standards and best practices.
