What You'll Do:
- Design, deploy, and support network solutions in a large-scale public cloud environment (AWS and Azure).
- Utilize advanced application and network security tooling, including next-generation firewalls and IDS/IPS.
- Implement enterprise-level Palo Alto Network Firewall, Fortinet, CheckPoint, AWS, and Azure Firewalls.
- Demonstrate expertise in networks and protocols, such as TLS, DNS, BGP, OSPF, TCP/UDP, SMTP.
- Develop roadmaps using established public cloud design standards.
- Provide network support and leadership to the Engineering organization through design reviews.
- Embrace a development mindset, managing network infrastructure as code and taking ownership of service delivery.
- Implement and support network performance, capacity, and availability monitoring tools.
- Contribute to the growth of the global network function, onboarding new network reliability engineers and providing technical leadership.
- Stay up to date with the latest networking developments through peer networking and industry events.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 10+ years of professionalexperience, including experience in an enterprise SaaS organization.
- Possesses expert-level knowledge in Firewall, IDS/IPS, DNS, BGP, OSPF, AWS, and Azure network constructs.
- Has experience deploying physical network and security devices, as well as cloud networking solutions like web application firewalls.
- Demonstrates proficiency in coding with Python, Java, Ruby, or equivalent languages.
- Familiarity with deploying cloud network infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation, or experience with Chef & Ansible.
- Exhibits confidence in project ownership and issue resolution.
- Has a passion for excellence, natural problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities.
- Possesses a solid understanding of networking systems and protocols, particularly in a public cloud environment.
- Thrives in a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Experience with monitoring technologies like Prometheus, Influx, Grafana, Elasticsearch, New Relic, Dynatrace or Datadog.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
