Sr. Delivery Manager (Technical Trainer), Partner Enablement

The Partner Sales Enablement team, reporting into the GTM Enablement department, is responsible for building world-class learning and certification programs to create external partner champions, increase partner-sourced sales opportunities, and improve customer outcomes. We are looking to hire a Technical Trainer for Partner Enablement. This is an individual contributor role (internally referred to as Delivery Manager) that aligns with our Partner sales team and Partner Solution Architects to enable our external partners including system integrators, cloud, ISVs, OEM, and tech partners. 

The Delivery Manager has two focus areas: 1) Act as a Subject Matter Expert on MongoDB and deliver live classroom teaching to employees in our SI/ISV/Cloud partners; 2) Engage with the learners after the training session to identify appropriate profiles for the next level of upskilling on MongoDB. 

This position reports to the Senior Manager, GTM Enablement.

This role is an integral part of the GTM Enablement department, supporting our partner sales revenue targets. Please note that this is a trainer role and not the project management role.  

This role can be based out of our Gurgaon or Bengaluru office or remotely in the India region, Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

As an ideal candidate, you have

• 4 to 8 years of professional work experience within software development, consulting, sales engineering, or related fields with at least 2 years of experience in a technology training role
• A mind for technology - we’ll teach you all about MongoDB and databases, but our customers and products are inherently technical and you should have an aptitude and curiosity to learn about those concepts
• Experience with or knowledge of scalable and highly available distributed systems 
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• A strong desire to build a career in enablement
• High levels of organization in your workflows - you understand what it means to work with lots of partners and to prioritize and manage your time efficiently

What you will do at MongoDB

• You will confidently articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions to our partners through training sessions
• You will help our partners build MongoDB CoEs inside their organizations
• You will build a post-session engagement plan with the learners to clarify their doubts and keep upskilling them on MongoDB. You will build and run a community of certified MongoDB developers and architects within partner organizations 
• Work closely with the program operations for assigned certification programs in regards to scheduling of sessions, reporting, and LMS requirements
• Act as the subject matter expert for upcoming program curriculum updates and releases. Project management responsibilities include liaising with cross functional teams to curate curriculum, ensuring deadlines are met, conducting content reviews, and managing the end to end curriculum releases
• Assist with other partner enablement initiatives as needed

Within 60 days, you will 

• Familiarize yourself with our business model, partner go to market, partner enablement programs, and key internal and external stakeholders
• Attend Sales Bootcamp to learn our technology, what we sell and how we sell it
• Shadow and participate in the execution of partner certification programs

Within 120 Days, you will

• Deliver training sessions for one of our flagship certification programs
• Gain competency with our Partner Enablement tools and processes including Thought Industries LMS, Google sheets, and Tableau
• Collaborate with the Partner Sales team and Partners to ensure the quality and execution of enablement programs are timely, relevant, and impactful
• Learn about modern and popular architecture design patterns, methodologies and concerns e.g. microservices, event-driven architectures, DevOps, cloud, security

 Within 180 Days, you will

• Be the subject matter expert on partner enablement programs, owning the end to end delivery, curriculum updates, and post-session activities with learners
• Expose yourself to a wide variety of market verticals and broad spectrum of interesting use cases
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand gaps and prioritize program enhancements
