Core Responsibilities- Lead strategic initiatives, governance, and project delivery best practices across ERP, ITSM, CRM, operations, and enterprise engineering tool support services.
- Provide end-to-end support services for all MCAD/ECAD tools (extended packages), including tool installation, troubleshooting installation-related issues, access and license support, and general application support for business users.
- Collaborate with leadership, engineering teams, SMEs, product vendors, and the ESD/SCCM team on planning, packaging, deployment, systems enhancements, and tool improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
- Lead and support the team by assigning work, resolving issues, sharing knowledge, contributing to hiring and performance activities, and managing daily operations in alignment with SLAs.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and overall business performance.
- Create and maintain installation scripts for applications where packaging is feasible, modify scripts to support version upgrades, and drive automation of the installation process.
- Monitor and address middleware, TLS/SSL, and other server-side vulnerabilities for COTS tools installed in the environment, while supporting PDT, AIA, PIP, and related compliance requirements as per established SLAs.
- Provide operational support across India (IST) and USA (MST) time zones, perform initial issue investigation, coordinate with vendors for product-related issues, and maintain SLA-based service delivery.
- Manage data activities, escalations, operational issue resolution, master R drive application sync failures, and configuration or setup of admin licenses to support business users.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including license optimization reporting, quarterly application upgrade proposal planning, and testing support for tool updates and patches identified by tool SMEs within the Honeywell environment.
- Support AOP planning, demand estimation, and CMDB compliance, while creating and publishing KB/KBE articles, FAQs, and other help documentation in Ask Red and ITDirect, and providing basic training for new users on tool usage.
- 12+ years of IT experience supporting mechanical and electrical application operations, including software inventory, change management, server license configuration, and CAD/CAE/ECAD platforms.
- Knowledge of PDT, AIA, and related engineering software ecosystems, with experience in licensing, configuration, deployment, cloud support, infrastructure migrations, and vulnerability management.
- Strong skills in process improvement, automation, digitization, document management, project management, report generation, systems integration, and operational optimization.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, training, and documentation skills.
- Proven leadership in managing teams, improving cross-functional service delivery, and making sound decisions in complex situations.
