So, what’s the role all about?
We are looking for an experienced QA professional with a strong background in testing distributed systems. The ideal candidate can work independently, has strong experience with test automation, and is self-driven to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals delivering high quality and secure software within an Agile delivery framework.
How will you make an impact?
- Automated Testing: Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases using tools and frameworks like Reqnroll and Specflow. Identify test scenarios and implement automated testing strategies for both backend services and API.
- Run manual tests and build automation test suites for regression and new features, checking data in application and databases, automating deployment and data generation.
- Test planning, test case design and execution, within a disciplined Agile process (SCRUM)
- Set-up, configuration and maintenance of test environments
- Configuration of test data
- Fault replication and analysis, and testing of software fixes
- Non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility etc)
Have you got what it takes?
- Have significant 8-12 years experience of automating testing.
- Have practical knowledge of C#, Mocking, Reqnroll/SpecFlow/Gherkin.
- Strong knowledge of Db and it’s concepts and working experience on database – SQL, schema, Query & Performance analysis
- Have practical knowledge of software testing methodologies, with an emphasis on Agile testing. Scripting against SLI & SLO of the practice.
- Be process oriented with good attention to detail.
- Be fierce in your pursuit of product quality.
- Follow a structured and analytical approach, with good troubleshooting skills.
- Be comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary and distributed team.
- Be able to communicate effectively, including via phone, email, instant message and video conferencing tools.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience working with Agile/SCRUM/Agile SAFe software development methodology
- Tech stack – Azure DevOps test management, .Net C#, Playwright, Wire mock, SpecFlow/Gherkin.
- ISTQB certification (or equivalent) preferred.
