As a Solutions Analyst III in Market Surveillance , you will aid in bridging the gap between product owners, business, operations, and software developers by leveraging your technical fluency and strong analytical reasoning skills. Your responsibilities will include eliciting and documenting business and data flow requirements, translating them into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. Your adaptability and ability to lead through change will enable you to navigate complex situations and manage dependencies effectively. With a strong foundation in data analytics and technical solutions, you will contribute to the development of innovative architecture designs and data-driven insights that guide business decisions. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will ensure clear and concise information exchange with diverse stakeholder audiences, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.
Job responsibilities
- Elicit and document comprehensive business and data flow requirements by engaging with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
- Translate complex business requirements into well-structured technical solutions, leveraging data analytics and technical knowledge to optimize system performance and scalability
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and key business initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain architecture designs, policies, standards, and governance processes that align technology with business strategy
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends, ensuring the application of best practices and innovative solutions to address evolving business needs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Solutions Analyst III concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Extensive domain knowledge of trade products and workflows, including front office, middle office, back office, and settlement systems.
- Solid understanding of financial products such as fixed income, equities, FX, commodities, futures, options, and swaps.
- Working knowledge of kdb and FIX & JPM-FIX protocols.
- Experience with Agile methodology and bug tracking using JIRA.
- Hands-on experience writing Unix & SQL queries for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with AWS, Databricks
- Experience with trading systems, regulatory environments, controls, or compliance-focused applications and systems.
- High level of expertise in data management, including data handling and integration across various data sources.
- Strong technical writing skills, with a proven track record of translating complex information into clear and concise documentation for diverse stakeholder audiences
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hands-on experience writing unix & sql queries for data analysis and automation
- Experience working with Equity and Equity derivative products
