What you'll achieve
As a Software Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment. You will work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.
You will:

Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle

Guide and participate in design, development, unit testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported

Investigate and resolve complex customer issues
-
Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership
-
Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews
-
Research, validate, and recommend technology decisions for new features

Essential Requirements
-
Bachelors or Masters degree in CSE
-
5+ years of enterprise software development experience using object-oriented languages like Python
-
3+ years of experience in architecting and implementing APIs and integration technologies in distributed enterprise environments using a combination of technologies, languages or standards like REST, SOAP, JSON, Python, Java etc.

Expertise building and maintaining microservices based architecture in cloud ecosystems and related technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
-
Experience using Devops tools like Jenkins and other CI/CD tools
-
Strong experience with SQL and relational database systems (example Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB) and knowledge of Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL) domain

Familiarity with cloud based data warehousing and data lake solutions such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Athena.

Experience with queuing SaaS systems like AWS SQS and Kafka.

Solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product and familiarity with established design patterns.

Strong technical communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with cross functional technical teams within the organization

Experience using Linux/Unix environments
Desirable Requirements

Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and experience in large-scale data processing technologies like Apache Spark.

Experience with DynamoDB and GraphQL
-
Proficiency in GoLang or Java
