Department OverviewThe Cloud Platform Engineering team is responsible for:
- Design and implementation of the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline into multiple public cloud regions
- Development and operation of common platform services that can be leveraged by our SaaS solutions moving forward
- Overall reliability and security of these services and the environments they are run in
- Monitoring and support for these platform and infrastructure services, as well as metrics collection and reporting related to them
Job Description
Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization’s products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or information technology
Familiarity with web components and distributed systems;
Familiarity with Public Safety systems is a plus
Solid coding and service development skills, with knowledge of at least one of the following toolsets or languages: Java, Spring, Springboot, Restful interface, Angular 11+
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving, growing and agile environment
Strong level of curiosity and interest to learn
Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to nontechnical audiences
Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment
