Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain full-stack features: Design and implement both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js) components to support key systems for candidate Vetting, content management, and testing.
  • System architecture: Architect robust, scalable, and secure systems optimized for performance, ensuring they can handle large volumes of data and traffic.
  • Work on matching and vetting algorithms: Develop and improve matching algorithms that help evaluate and filter candidates for LLM training and delivery.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and human operations teams to gather feedback, iterate on product features, and align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Startup-driven fitment: Be proactive and flexible, adapting to the fast-paced environment of a growing startup. You will have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and drive initiatives that directly impact product and business outcomes.

Exceptional candidates may have:

  • Proven track record in delivering web applications in a startup environment (e.g., previous startup experience).
  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions and bridge the gap between engineering, product, and data teams.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments where agility, problem-solving, and innovation are key to success.

Required Skills:

  • Full-Stack Development: Expertise in React (frontend) and Node.js (backend) for building scalable, performant applications.

  • Databases: Proficient in working with MySQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and database management.
  • Backend & API Development: Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs to support frontend features and data processing.
Advantages of joining Turing:
  • Amazing work culture (Super collaborative & supportive work environment; 5 days a week)
  • Awesome colleagues (Surround yourself with top talent from Meta, Google, LinkedIn etc. as well as people with deep startup experience)
  • Competitive compensation
