Role Summary
Sophos Email is SaaS product in Sophos' next generation portfolio, designed to provide advanced protection for an organization's email infrastructure. It aims to defend against various email-based threats, such as spam, phishing attacks, malware, ransomware, and other email-borne threats.
As Software Development Engineer in Test, you would be the part of team tasked towards ensuring quality release of product features of Sophos Email Security Product line. The role would require you to work with the scrum team members and Quality Engineering organization to ensure high quality - Automation driven Software releases.
What You Will do
- Eliciting Test Cases from Acceptance Criteria of Stories.
- Test automation for all the test of Stories and features owned.
- Following all the defined quality processes for the release work of the team
- Participation in Design and architecture discussions
- Monitor and debug the issues with running Regression Suites.
- Ability to learn and understand complex and technical issues.
- Work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced and dynamic environment
What You will Bring
- 2-4 years of technical experience in Automation testing Engineering field
- Strong in Core Java concepts, capability of writing and executing the test cases and plans
- Hands-on experience in Test Automation with Exposure to API testing using REST and understanding of Automation Frameworks
- Good in understanding of Microservices architecture and CICD pipelines
- Good to have AWS cloud interaction experience
