Software Engineer II

We are looking for a Software Engineer II with proven experience in the development of key internal and customer-facing applications. The Software Engineer will work closely with Sr Software Engineer, project managers, data analysts and other developers in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms, architectures and technologies. The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, and should have a strong understanding of the software development processes and methodologies.

• Agile development of software
• Continuous integration and automated testing of developed code
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery of systems and infrastructure
• Investigation and root cause analysis of software and system defects
• Deployment of production ready systems and infrastructure
• Monitoring of running processes to ensure proper functioning of software
• Identifying and providing solutions for common needs across stakeholders
• Working with end users and incorporating feedback into the product
• Work with Product Management and Architecture Team to chart Engineering backlog
• Reach out and demo the products to Customers and help them use our products efficiently
• Plan sprint backlogs and resolve any impediments
• Commitment to deliver the product on-time without compromising on quality
• Fully accountable and reachable with client centric approach to resolving issues

• Strong programming skills with 2+ years of experience;
• Full-stack development with strong skills in Scala, Java, Spring boot, PL/SQL Micro Services
• Strong experience building and using REST API
• Experience working with SQL database
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment; Git, Jenkins, GoCD
• Experience running production service on cloud based environment, like AWS
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with trouble shooting distributed applications
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and reporting systems
• Experience with agile methods, DevOps and tools
• Proven experience producing and deploying production software
• Ability to work well with a distributed team of strong performers
