Software Engineer II

What's the role?

• Projects include real time data validation, large scale data processing frameworks, and high scalable services.
• Deliver services for high availability, with a high quality bar.
• Work closely with software developers to develop the best implementations. Develop efficient, re-usable, reliable and scalable software
• Develop test frameworks and operations tools for the services you create.
• Use Agile principles to run the development lifecycle for applications and services
• Contribute through the technology transitions to next generation technologies and share learning with team.
• Interact with customers/users to support software acceptance process
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Provide/Recommend solutions inclusive of third party open source APIs

Who are you?

• 2+ years in application development within fast-paced, product-based environments.
• Proficient in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of data structures & algorithms.
• AWS/Scala good to have
• Hands-on experience with RESTful web services, JSON, XML, SOA, and microservices architecture.
• Expertise in backend architectures, messaging technologies, and related frameworks.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, data modeling, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
