Bottomline Technologies is seeking a smart, highly motivated individual to work as a Software Engineer .
Position Title: Software Engineer-1 (UI)
Location: Bengaluru, India
Key Skills: HTML, CSS, Javascript and React
As a Software Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of our SDLC from day one; this includes requirement gathering, feature planning, implementation, testing, documentation writing, releases, and application support. You will develop and test code for system changes or new modules within Bottomline’s core technology and architecture according to internal and regulatory specifications and standards. This is a unique role offering the opportunity to work in a cross functional, international team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Interact with the Product Owner to understand their requirements
- Contribute to Scrum activities
- Develop code according to Bottomline and industry standards
- Prepare and execute accurate unit test plans and Cypress
- Work independently without supervision
- Be self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude
Essential Experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in software development
- Hight understanding of all phases of SDLC, experience in working with Agile methodology
- Coding experience on frontend technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with an aptitude for learning and innovation
- Excellent inter-personal, oral, and written communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Bitbucket, GitLab.
- Confluence, JIRA, Cypress
