About the Role

As a Social Media Associate for College Rivals IP, you will play a key role in amplifying one of Ampverse’s most exciting properties across digital platforms. You will manage day-to-day social content, engagement, and storytelling for College Rivals IP while supporting campaigns and digital activations for the sponsoring brands associated with the IP.

You will collaborate closely with the marketing, partnerships, creative, and production teams to ensure the College Rivals brand, its community, and its sponsor integrations are represented with authenticity, energy, and consistency.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Execution

  • Develop engaging, platform-specific content for College Rivals IP across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Produce posts, reels, stories, short-form videos, and graphics that reflect the College Rivals brand identity and resonate with the youth and collegiate audience.
  • Ideate and execute content that integrates sponsor brands organically within the College Rivals narrative (e.g., branded moments, product placement, campaign tie-ins).
  • Support event-based content creation across tournaments, campus activations, influencer integrations, and livestreams.

Community Management

  • Monitor and actively engage with the College Rivals community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with student communities, fans, and esports enthusiasts.
  • Escalate community insights, feedback, and issues to internal teams when necessary.

Campaign Support

  • Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns for both College Rivals IP and sponsoring brand partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaign messaging is aligned and deliverables are executed on time.
  • Collaborate with creators, ambassadors, and student influencers to support campaign amplification.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and analyze key social media metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Emplifi, SocialBakers, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
  • Provide regular performance reports on content, growth, engagement, and sponsor campaign outputs.
  • Offer insights and suggestions to improve content effectiveness and platform strategies.

Trendspotting & Creative Thinking

  • Stay up-to-date on gaming, esports, pop culture, and youth trends relevant to College Rivals.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage trending topics, memes, sounds, and formats to elevate the IP and sponsor visibility.
  • Contribute fresh ideas for content, campaigns, and collaborations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Mass Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the gaming, esports, youth marketing, or entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats, audience behavior, and community-building best practices.
  • Experience working with influencer/creator-driven content is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and content creation software (e.g., Canva, Adobe, CapCut).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working during weekends or evenings for major events, tournaments, or live activations when required.
