Position Summary:
As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our Kubernetes SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design and deliver user-friendly interfaces that cater to a diverse range of users, including Management Plane Operators, Organization Admins, Cluster Admins, and Application Developers. Your work will directly influence how our users interact with our platform, ensuring it is both functional and delightful to use.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of user interfaces and experiences for our Kubernetes SaaS platform, ensuring they are intuitive, user-centered, and aligned with our product vision.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed design specifications to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Ensure consistency in design and user experience across the platform by developing and maintaining a design system.
- 5-10 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex web applications, Enterprise or SaaS platforms.
- Proficiency in Figma is a must.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Strong understanding of design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple and intuitive user experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, or enterprise software is a big plus.
- A degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
