Overview
The CNPF Data & AI organisation is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive execution across complex, cross-functional AI, data, and engineering initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring alignment, delivery rigor, and sustained execution across Applied AI, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, and Product teams.
This role is suited for a seasoned TPM who thrives in ambiguous environments, understands modern data and AI systems, and can operate confidently with senior engineering and product leadership. The Senior TPM will not own people but will own outcomes, timelines, and execution discipline.
Role • Own end-to-end delivery of large, cross-team technical programs spanning AI, data, and engineering initiatives • Drive program planning, execution, dependency management, and delivery tracking • Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Applied AI, Product, and Platform leaders • Establish clear milestones, success metrics, and risk mitigation plans • Proactively identify execution risks, escalate trade-offs, and drive resolution • Lead technical and programmatic forums to ensure alignment and accountability • Improve execution maturity by introducing lightweight, effective program management practices • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to senior stakeholders and leadership
ALL ABOUT YOU • Significant experience as a Technical Program Manager delivering complex engineering programs • Strong technical fluency across software engineering, data engineering, and ML/AI systems • Proven track record of delivering multi-team programs in fast-moving, ambiguous environments • Ability to work effectively with senior engineers, architects, and product leaders • Strong dependency management, risk management, and execution skills • Comfortable driving outcomes without direct authority • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
