About your roleAs a Senior Technical Lead for the Fund Administration Workflow Automation team, you will be at the forefront of designing and architecting innovative solutions to streamline and automate internal processes within our Fund Administration operations. You will set the team's technical direction, tackle complex challenges, and contribute hands-on as a full-stack leader. This role involves significant mentorship, working closely with engineers and cross-functional partners in product, design, and quality assurance to enhance our system capabilities. Your leadership will be pivotal in achieving team objectives and advancing our technical vision for process automation.
What you’ll doDesign and architect complex workflow automation systems with the team, actively participating in design reviews.
Lead and mentor a team of junior developers and technical leads, fostering their growth and development in automation best practices.
Grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Fund Administration processes, with an in-depth understanding of internal team needs and opportunities for automation.
Ensure high quality in team deliverables through guidance, code reviews, and setting best practices for robust and scalable automation solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, UX, QA) to ensure the team meets project timelines for automation initiatives.
Own monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving production issues within Fund Administration workflow automation systems.
Contribute to and drive large-scale, complex automation projects, and execute development tasks through completion.
Perform code reviews to uphold high quality and standards across automation codebases.
Provide technical support for stakeholder groups, including internal Fund Administration teams.
Work closely with QA to maintain software quality and increase automation coverage for internal workflows.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
7+ years of experience building cloud-based web applications.
Previous experience of leading a team will be a plus.
Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) such as Python, Java or similar server-side web application development languages.
Experience with front end technologies like React, CSS frameworks, HTML and Javascript
Experience with Relational Databases like Postgres, MySQL
Experience with SQL database schema design and query optimization
Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and Container technologies (Docker and k8s)
Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Server is a plus but not required
You must be flexible and adaptable—you will be operating in a fast-paced startup environment
