About the Role:
Ericsson is looking for a hands-on L2 Support Engineer to provide functional and technical support for Netcracker NRM/Billing applications in a 24x7 telecom production environment. The role involves bill cycle monitoring, incident resolution, billing analysis, production validation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2 support for Netcracker NRM/Billing applications.
Monitor simulation and production bill cycles, billing jobs, interfaces, and application health.
Troubleshoot billing, rating, invoice, payment, adjustment, balance, and bill cycle issues.
Analyse Oracle database issues using SQL/PLSQL and perform approved production data fixes.
Analyse Unix/Linux logs, processes, scheduled jobs, scripts, and batch failures.
Handle P1/P2/P3 incidents, meet SLAs, and provide timely stakeholder updates.
Perform impact analysis, execute approved workarounds, validate service restoration, and escalate issues to L3 with proper evidence.
Conduct RCA and support problem management activities.
Support release, deployment, post-deployment validation, and rollback activities.
Perform billing/payment reconciliation and data validation.
Create and maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, checklists, and known-error documents.
Coordinate with L1, L3, DBA, TOMS, CSRD, OCS, CRM, Middleware, and Infrastructure teams.
