Overview:
The Opportunity: Litera is redefining how firms utilize data for competitive advantage. As a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack), you will play a vital role in designing and implementing modern applications on the Microsoft Azure platform using technologies such as C#, TypeScript, React, and various Azure services. Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable SaaS applications.

• Write clean, maintainable, and extensible code with minimal defects.

• Participate in code reviews and provide guidance on software engineering techniques and methodologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Quality Engineering, and User Experience.

• Manage task priorities, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Demonstrate understanding of software development principles such as object-oriented design and SOLID.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong C# skills.

• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.

• Experience with cloud-native development in Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, and Azure AD B2C.

• At least 1 year of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and technologies such as React, TypeScript, or Vue.js.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related experience.

• Proficiency in object-oriented development using Microsoft VS Code, Cursor, or Windsurf.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• Successful completion of a standard background check with candidate consent.

First Month

• Learn the application’s functional areas and their intended uses.

• Build relationships with developers and QA team members.

• Contribute as an Agile team member to solve complex challenges and develop working software.

• Triage, analyze, and develop solutions for bugs and minor enhancements using Azure DevOps.

• Work alongside senior developers to understand the application’s source code.

• Follow standard operating procedures for consistent software development.

Within Three Months

• Regularly contribute code improvements to the application.

• Translate product designs into technical solutions and development tasks.

• Communicate with Customer Success and other departments regarding application bugs, issues, and challenges.

Within Six Months

• Collaborate with the development team to build robust features.

• Establish subject matter expertise in multiple feature areas of the application.

• Take ownership of feature development in critical areas of the application.

• Identify and define new opportunities for quality improvement.
