JR68981 Senior Tax Accountant I
Resource will manage all compliances under corporate income tax, transfer pricing and indirect tax regulations including but not limited to below;
- Prepare periodical income tax and GST filings and ensure all compliances related to direct & indirect taxation are adhered to.
- Preparation of documents / details for Income Tax assessment, appeals and other department correspondence.
- Ensure Transfer Pricing compliance including review/preparation of transfer pricing adjustments, TP study report and disclosures.
- Strong knowledge and working experience in DTAA aspects
- Assist in income tax accounting (US GAAP - ASC 740 and Indian statutory), calculating and reporting deferred taxes as per IGAAP and Ind-As for Group / Statutory closing.
- Study of Intercompany transactions, analyze the transfer pricing, Withholding Tax and other tax implications thereof.
- Knowledge of certification work in respect of filing of forms 15CB, form 15CA, form 3CD, form 3CEB.
- To file GST refund applications and pursuing the same with GST authorities
- To coordinate with cross functional teams to reconcile credit as per GST returns and books of accounts to make necessary rectification entries
- Liaise with external consultants as and when required for advisory and compliance work
- Proactively identify and evaluate tax planning opportunities
- Co-develop the tax strategy, optimize tax liabilities, build and deploy efficient tax planning and monitor and improve efficiencies continuously.
- To keep the organization aware of the implications of tax laws on business decisions. Resolve tax matters expeditiously whenever the need arises.
- Identify process improvements and simplification opportunities. Drive the execution of those projects and ensure successful implementation of the same.
- Should have knowledge of basic accounting and IGAAP
- To respond to the notices issued by GST/SEZ authorities and liaise with consultant on a need basis
- Monitoring of General Ledger and understand the transactions and the processes.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial statements and statutory audit
- Maintain comprehensive and complete documentation of tax positions. Follow all Micron Tax documents retention polices and ensure all business partners are aware and follow as well
