We’re looking for a Senior Technical Talent Partner to support the rapid growth of our R&D and niche engineering teams across India and the broader APAC region. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning complex searches, partnering deeply with business leaders, and building strong talent pipelines in competitive markets - while also helping improve how we hire at scale.
A day in the life (Responsibilities)- Partner closely with Hiring Managers and business leaders across Engineering and niche technical functions to build strong, future-ready talent pipelines aligned to Toast’s mission and culture.
- Own end-to-end recruiting for senior and hard-to-hire technical roles, from intake and sourcing through offer and close.
- Proactively source and engage high-quality, diverse candidates using creative and data-driven strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by sharing market insights, hiring trends, and competitive intelligence to influence hiring decisions and expectations.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and ensure consistent, high-quality interview processes.
- Collaborate with partners across the People & Places team (People Success, Total Rewards, TA Ops) and cross-functional teams like Finance to drive hiring outcomes.
- Use data and funnel insights to identify gaps, improve processes, and continuously raise the bar on hiring quality and efficiency.
- Contribute to TA projects and process improvements as we continue to scale across APAC.
- 7+ years of recruiting experience, with strong focus on senior and niche technical hiring in fast-growing or product-led environments.
- Proven ability to source, assess, and close top technical talent in highly competitive markets.
- Strong experience partnering with senior hiring managers and influencing through data and market insights.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, evolving environments and adapting as business needs change.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across levels and functions.
- Deep commitment to candidate experience, diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
