Role Overview:
Chubb is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Engineer with expertise in .NET, Angular, MS SQL Server and Azure. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence, lead a high-performing team, and deliver robust solutions for our insurance platforms. Insurance industry experience is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of full stack engineers, fostering a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement
- Design, and implement scalable web applications using .NET, Angular, and MS SQL Server
- Implement CI/CD pipelines leveraging DevOps tools and Jenkins.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions
- Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
- (Preferred) Apply insurance domain knowledge to solution design and delivery
- (Good to have) Integrate and manage IAM solutions, especially Azure AD B2C
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
- Strong proficiency in .NET (C#), Angular, and MS SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
- Proven track record in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline setup (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and microservices
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred:
- Insurance industry experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
