As Our Senior SDET, You Will:
- Test Planning and Execution. Develop comprehensive test plans covering manual, automated, and performance testing based on an understanding of product requirements and business processes.
- Automated Testing, Performance and Stress Testing. Be able to create and maintain efficient automated testing frameworks, writing test scripts and implementing automated testing processes.
- Defect Management and Communication Collaboration. Accurately record and track defects found during testing. Maintain close communication with cross - functional team members, collaborate to solve problems during testing, and promote the smooth progress of projects.
This is a fully-remote opportunity based in India. Standard work hours are from 8 am to 5 pm IST.
You Are Likely To Succeed If you:
- Have at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with experience working in fast-paced and complex project environments preferred.
- Have 3 years of experience in automated testing and test case design, and be familiar with test plan development.
- Proficient in at least one programming language, such as C, C++, Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.
- Have rich experience in automated testing and be familiar with various automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Robot framework, etc.
- Be proficient in API testing (such as Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing (such as JMeter, Gatling).
- Understand database operations (such as SQL) and have the ability to operate in a Linux environment.
- Be familiar with Agile development methods and be able to work efficiently in an Agile team.
- Have strong problem - solving and debugging skills, and be able to quickly locate and solve complex problems during software testing.
- Have good organizational, collaborative, and time - management skills, and be able to work effectively in a multi - tasking and cross - team environment.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with people from different departments and levels.
- Have the ability to work independently, complete tasks with limited guidance, and be proactive in learning and adapting to new work requirements.
- Have an innovative mindset and a passion for learning new technologies, and be able to continuously explore and apply new testing methods and technologies to improve the efficiency and quality of testing work.
Bonus Points If You:
- Are familiar with professional QA methodologies and tools.
- Have a good understanding of QA-related Python.
- Know how to use stress testing tools, have experience for api and backend features performance tests.
- Possess knowledge of SQL, Docker, and Linux basics.
