As Our Senior QA Engineer, You Will:
- Test Planning and Execution. Develop comprehensive test plans covering manual, automated, and performance testing based on an understanding of product requirements and business processes.
- Automated Testing, Performance and Stress Testing. Be able to create and maintain efficient automated testing frameworks, writing test scripts, and implementing automated testing processes.
- Design and improve our own test framework and platform for QA and developers.
- Defect Management and Communication Collaboration. Accurately record and track defects found during testing. Maintain close communication with cross - functional team members, collaborate to solve problems during testing, and promote the smooth progress of projects.
This is a fully-remote opportunity based in India. Standard work hours are from 8 am to 5pm IST.
You Are Likely To Succeed If you:
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5+ years in automation testing.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field with a solid foundation in computer science.
- Proficient in at least one programming language: Python(preferred), Java, or similar.
- Good experience on developing autotest framework or handling a whole automation for a project.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or Robot Framework.
- Strong knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and using JIRA/Confluence.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., k9s,Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Bonus Points If You:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and locust.
- Experience with project development or automation with Appium,unittest, Pytest.
- Understanding and development experience with normal components, such as MQ/kafka, redis, mysql, postgresql, etc,.
- Have the ability to operate in a Linux environment.
- Exposure to mobile app testing (e.g., Appium).
- Are familiar with professional QA methodologies and tools.
