Senior QA Analyst

The Data Quality Analyst is a critical member of the data management team responsible for the data quality and functional integrity of the solutions that dentsu implements for enterprise data management. The QA Analyst will work with QA Lead and the technical team to test and validate new products, enhancements, change requests, and defect fixes. The QA Analyst will develop and execute the right test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
•    Design test cases, develop test scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results.
•    Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
•    Perform analysis of new data for inclusion into a data product/enterprise data platform, and ad-hoc analysis of data to support the requirements process.
•    Create large volumes of test data if required.
•    Utilize testing automation tools and techniques to improve test accuracy and efficiency.
•    Track and reports defect using appropriate tools such as JIRA.
•    Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles.
•    Investigate and recommend remediation strategies for data quality conditions, and process failures.
•    Communicate test status to internal project team
•    Follow best practices and standards for a particular solution or across multiple medium/large scale projects/accounts.
•    Accurately estimate work effort and delivery timelines to support project and client management.
•    Take direction from QA lead/project management regarding schedule, scope, and cost tradeoffs.
•    Assist with solution testing utilizing business validation techniques.
•    Assist with solution user acceptance testing. 
•    Work remotely with globally distributed colleagues and clients with the associated schedule flexibility required due to multiple time zones.
•    Contribute to the development of dentsu’s reusable assets, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related IT field
•    Proficiency with SQL language
•    3 to 5 years of experience in any software quality assurance or testing position.
•    Knowledge with test automation tools and techniques 
•    knowledge of master data management, databases, data flow processes, and data modeling concepts
•    Data management and data warehousing principles is essential.
•    Familiarity with Azure Cloud technologies is a plus.
•    Experience with testing API projects a plus.
•    Experience with testing system integration tools such as Snap logic is a plus.
•    Excellent written and oral English communication skill
•    Experience with data profiling tool (e.g., Informatica Data Explorer) a plus.
•    Prior working experience in the data management implementations with MDM tools such as Semarchy, Informatica, is a plus.
•    3 to 5 years’ experience working with various methodologies including Agile.
•    Experience with user acceptance testing.
