Gradient AI:

Gradient AI is a fast-growing startup, bringing state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions to the trillion-dollar insurance industry. Founded in 2018, we have recently raised a $56M “C” round from top Insurtech investors to continue fueling our growth. Our software-as-a-service platform provides bias-free, data-driven insights, enabling insurance companies to profitably run their business and expand their offerings to underserved people and markets.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our product management team. This role is hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in our Seaport (Boston) office. We’re prioritizing candidates who are local to the Boston area. This person will help develop processes and strategies to plan, manage and execute major product development projects and engagements. They will also work with our largest clients to ensure we are meeting goals and providing results.  This individual should thrive in uncharted territory, taking the lead in defining processes and creating a 'playbook' to guide future projects. They must be comfortable tackling challenges and developing solutions without relying on existing frameworks or established methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create the standardization and process for our large projects
  • Manage project schedules, identify risks, and clearly communicate updates or bottlenecks to project stakeholders
  • Work cross functionally with client services, sales, marketing, and engineering
  • Work with our enterprise level clients to ensure we are tracking go live on time and without any issues
  • Be comfortable defining brand-new processes to set up organization for future success

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of project management experience
  • Managed multiple external customer facing projects with high degree of technical difficulty and tight timelines simultaneously
  • Experience using common project management tools like ASANA, Microsoft Project, Jira and Smartsheet
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus
  • Working in the insurance industry is a plus

What You'll Bring:

  • Sharp project instincts — you know how to build a plan, keep it moving, and get things across the finish line.
  • Strong EQ — you know how to build trust, influence, and communicate clearly with anyone — from early career teammates to C-level execs.
  • Bias for action — you don't wait to be told; you see what needs doing and make it happen.
  • Organized but flexible — you love a good system and detailed project plans, but you're not precious about process when speed matters most.
  • Clear communicator — you keep it real, keep it simple, and know how to tailor your message for any audience.
  • Big picture thinker — you connect the dots across teams, projects, and priorities.
  • Builder mindset — you're always looking for ways to uplevel how we work as we scale.

What We Offer:

  • A fun, team-oriented startup culture.
  • Generous stock options - we all get to own a piece of what we’re building.
  • Unlimited vacation days.
  • Flexible schedule that supports working from home.
  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Ample opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities.

We are an equal opportunity employer.
