As a Product Support Engineer II, you will be a member of the Corporate Technology team, and will work with project managers, business teams, Technology Risk, and developers to engineer and streamline processes to collect and validate technology asset data across the enterprise. You will support the creation and maintenance of processes and workflows to facilitate data capture and processing, integrations, and exception and approvals administration. Your responsibilities include the daily oversight and support of on-premises Microsoft Infrastructure servers and services as well as M365 cloud services.
What you will do:
- Administer and configure Microsoft 365 platforms and related services.
- Develop and implement procedures for ensuring ongoing operations and proactive maintenance of the environment consistent with SEI’s Service Management principals.
- Facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations.
- Support vulnerability remediation and patch deployment using a variety of automation platforms.
- Provide day-to-day administration, support and monitoring of infrastructure services.
- Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles for supported tools.
- Establish best practices related to infrastructure services and Microsoft 365 services.
- Provide IT Service Management tasks like Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management etc.
- Provide technical user support and resolve system / application issues.
What we need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related fields; or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years prior work experience in a product support or infrastructure support role
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing Office 365, Teams, and Intune
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Windows server administration
- Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure setup and support
- Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy
- Strong technical background in endpoint management, infrastructure engineering, and enterprise security
- Ability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with Microsoft apps
