JOB PURPOSE:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team leading digital transformation across the agriculture functions at McCain. We seek a highly capable PowerBI Modeler and Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Sustainment team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining PowerBI solutions to enable data-driven decision-making across the Agriculture function. You will also oversee resources from external partners delivering PowerBI solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data modeling, visualization, and at least 3 years experience with PowerBI.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data models that effectively represent business requirements and ensure data accuracy.
• Utilize best practices in data modeling to optimize performance and facilitate efficient data retrieval.
• Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to integrate data from various sources into PowerBI, ensuring a seamless flow of information.
• Implement ETL processes to transform and clean data for reporting purposes
• Implement best practices for data refresh schedules and data storage optimization.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of PowerBI solutions, identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or issues.
• Develop interactive and insightful PowerBI dashboards and reports to meet the needs of various business stakeholders.
• Work closely with end-users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PowerBI models, reports, and dashboards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics tools developing Reporting and Dashboards
• 3+ years in Reporting and Analytics using Power BI - M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, RLS
• 5+ years in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills, preferrable SQL Server
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a PowerBI Developer with a strong focus on data modeling.
• Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Skills:
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certified preferred
• Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
