Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior MuleSoft Developer with strong hands-on experience in API and application development, application integration design, and integration development. The role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing scalable integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform while ensuring performance, reliability, security, and adherence to integration best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft APIs and integration solutions.
Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs and application integrations using MuleSoft.
Create integration designs connecting enterprise applications, services, databases, and external systems.
Work extensively with Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, and API Manager.
Develop reusable integration components and APIs following API-led connectivity principles.
Implement data transformations and mappings using DataWeave.
Configure appropriate error handling, logging, security, monitoring, and exception management.
Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root-cause analysis and performance optimization.
Participate in solution design, technical reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
Collaborate with architects, application teams, business stakeholders, and other integration teams.
Ensure solutions follow established development standards, security guidelines, and integration best practices.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior development resources where required.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in MuleSoft development and enterprise application integration.
Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio.
Strong experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP APIs.
Hands-on experience with DataWeave, RAML, JSON, XML, and API specifications.
Good understanding of API-led connectivity and integration architecture patterns.
Experience integrating applications using HTTP/S, databases, messaging, and enterprise connectors.
Knowledge of API security, authentication, authorization, and access-management concepts.
Experience with CI/CD, version control, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft Developer or Integration Architect certification is preferred.
Experience working on large-scale enterprise integration programs.
Exposure to cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices would be an advantage.
