Job Description

We are looking for Regional B2B Senior Marketing Manager to join our team, reporting to the Head of Marketing for South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa region. This role involves full ownership of the regional digital marketing strategy, driving partnerships, account-level marketing, and delivering measurable outcomes. Key responsibilities include planning and executing impactful marketing initiatives to meet partner needs, enhance customer acquisition and retention, and achieve value-driven metrics. The role requires informed decision-making, strategic prioritisation, and collaboration across departments while fostering an inclusive and ethical culture. By aligning regional efforts with global best practices, this position plays a vital role in market expansion. Plan and execute annual marketing activity on a designated portfolio and/or customer channel, ensuring that agreed objectives and targets are met.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns and account-level initiatives to drive customer retention.
  • Lead the strategic development of digital marketing activities to develop and deliver an impactful marketing strategy for scaling outreach
  • Lead a team of Omni-channel Marketers to create targeted and engaging marketing campaigns to attract and acquire our target audience
  • Manage the annual budget for B2B marketing spend. Track performance against this and analyse channel ROI to take corrective action where needed
  • Use insight gained from data analysis of marketing campaigns to inform proposals, decisions, and recommendations for action or change to senior leadership
  • Delivering and ensuring customer personalisation through consistent campaign management and development of appropriate messaging for key personas and data segments based on value propositions
  • Build effective long-term and strategic relationships both internal (commercial, editorial, other departments) and external (e.g. funder partners, authors, societies, organisations) and have the ability to effectively influence outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and technological advancements, and share key insights with the team.
  • Organise and lead events & conference participation to ensure successful execution and enhanced engagement. Analyse metrics to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skills gaps.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Possess skillset in digital marketing to demonstrate a solid understanding of online channels, SEO, SEM, social media, and analytics
  • Showcase expertise in content marketing in creating engaging and impactful content across various platforms.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in data analytics tools and possess the ability to interpret data to make informed marketing decisions.
  • Stay abreast of AI and machine learning trends in marketing, understanding how these technologies can enhance marketing strategies.
  • Understanding of project management tools
  • Flexible and adaptable, resilient to change, and with the ability to successfully influence and work in a matrix-environment.

Role Purpose:

Marketing planning and execution for a designated portfolio and/or customer channel, ensuring agreed value creation metrics are achieved and recommendations are made, as well as providing guidance on your domain area.

Additional Information

    Location: This role is based at our India - New Delhi office. You must have the right to work and live in India. 

    The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our office in Delhi, to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required. Time spent in the office is likely to range from 10%-80% of working hours with an expectation for a minimum of 2 days per week spent working from an office.

    Internal candidates will be eligible to continue their current working arrangements.
