Job Responsibilities:
• Senior Operations Manager helps in managing the day-to-day operations of mortgage lending activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing processes, and fostering a productive and efficient work environment within the mortgage operations team.
• Continuously improving operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline the mortgage application and approval process. This might involve implementing new technologies or methodologies to automate tasks and reduce turnaround times.
• Overseeing quality control measures to ensure accuracy in loan processing, documentation, and customer communications. This helps in minimizing errors and improving customer satisfaction.
• Monitoring individual and team performance metrics such as productivity, turnaround times, accuracy rates, and schedule adherence.
• Implementing quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring all mortgage operations adhere to federal and state regulations, including RESPA, TILA, and others
• Generating reports on team performance metrics and presenting findings to management.
• Generating operational reports, analyzing data trends, and identifying areas for process improvement or cost reduction. Using metrics to measure team performance and operational efficiency.
• Participating in strategic planning sessions to align operational goals with overall business objectives
