MongoDB is seeking an experienced Senior International Tax Manager to join our international tax team in Gurgaon. This role will help manage compliance, transfer pricing, reporting, tax planning, audit defense and governance across the EU, Middle East, Africa, America, and Asia Pacific regions. The Senior Tax Manager will play a key role in the success of our Tax Department, supporting the rapid growth of our business. This role will oversee a direct report while directly reporting to the International Tax Director.

The Senior International Tax Manager will work closely with the Tax Team based in India, Ireland, and the US. To be successful, this team member must have the ability to adapt quickly and operate effectively in a rapidly scaling, dynamic environment and align well with MongoDB’s core values. Responsibilities

• Manage non-U.S. income tax provision processes including preparation and review of related workpapers, calculations, and the return-to-provision (RTP) reconciliation
• Manage non-U.S. income tax compliance including preparation and review of tax compliance workpapers in coordination with external consultants to ensure timely and accurate filings of foreign income tax returns
• Prepare documentation to support various tax positions and document internal processes
• Manage global direct tax audits in collaboration with external consultants
• Manage transfer pricing initiatives and projects including maintaining intercompany agreements and working cross-functionally with other departments to ensure the intercompany transactions on the financial statements align with the transfer pricing agreements
• Assist with the preparation and review of U.S. international tax aspects
• Collaborate with external consultants to monitor OECD and local country tax policy developments that may impact income taxes
• Participate in various process improvement projects
• Conduct research on withholding tax questions and provide technical assistance to stakeholders

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least 8 years of experience in a large corporate tax environment with international tax experience, which may include Big 4 or similar
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a sense of urgency
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making situations
• Experience in managing others is preferred, as this role will have a direct report
