Senior Manager Software Engineering

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and scale high-performing engineering teams while delivering reliable, scalable, and high-quality software systems.
This role requires a balance of strong people leadership, technical depth, and execution excellence, with the ability to align engineering outcomes with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, including performance management, hiring, and career development
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects, from planning and execution to release and post-launch support
• Collaborate closely with product management, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Define, implement, and enforce best practices for system architecture, coding standards, testing, and deployment
• Ensure systems meet high standards of scalability, performance, reliability, and security
• Drive agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead production readiness, incident management, root cause analysis, and postmortems
• Contribute to high-level technical decision-making, architectural reviews, and long-term system design
• Track and improve engineering metrics such as velocity, quality, uptime, and delivery predictability

Technical Expectations

• Strong hands-on and architectural experience with Java
• Experience working with MongoDB and Elasticsearch in production environments
• Solid understanding of building scalable, distributed systems
• Experience with system performance tuning, observability, and fault tolerance is a plus

• Proven experience 8+ years of experience in managing and scaling engineering teams
• Strong execution mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and people leadership
• Experience driving large, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
