- Display strong technical skills to interpret complex actuarial Excel models.
- Communicate with key stakeholders to resolve project / product issues and present project outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, including internationally, to execute actuarial solutions, deliver quality services and share best practices.
- Oversee and contribute to multiple concurrent projects.
- Take a key role in managing client communication and relationships.
What skills the candidate will need to get the job done…
- University graduate, major in Actuarial Science
- Associate / Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, India (AIAI, FIAI) or Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, UK (AIA, FIA) or equivalent qualification
- Ten or more years of actuarial experience with a minimum of 5 years working experience in the insurance industry - experience in life insurance pricing and actuarial modelling highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is required to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of VBA / Python is a strong plus.
- Experience with / knowledge of actuarial software applications (Prophet, R etc.) is helpful, but not necessary.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
